American Enclaves at a National Scale

Here are some snapshots from the American Enclaves app showing national distributions of ethnic communities.
In previous posts, I'd highlighted some interesting urban areas (and went over the process) but didn't provide a set of images at a national scope, which is just as interesting!

P.S. I am loving the Superman color palate, which was original to the NYT ethnic dot density map.

Oh, by the way, this is not a dot density map.  Each spot on the maps below corresponds to an individual Census tract where any of the four racial/ethnic identities are present in outlier proportions.
Anyways, each group has a distinct pattern illustrative of a fascinating/sad/wonderful past and present.
