Autocomplete Zeitgeist: UK & USA

Combining localization with Autocomplete renders an interesting picture of what folks in the UK and the US wonder about each other.  While some of it revolves around teeth, and rumors of teeth, it turns out people are pretty curious about linguistics.

  1. "Brits Pub" might be a lot less about why brits like to visit the pub, and more about the actual bar location in Minneapolis, MN: http://www.britspub.com/

  2. Yes. Hey, I just recently learned on the awesome Britcom, Keeping Up Appearances, that Pub is an abbreviation of Public House. Which makes a lot of sense.
